keeps us on track with God? What keeps us in tune with
His will for our lives?
The answer
is: PRAYER
Yes, time
spent with God in Prayer helps to keep us doing the things
we need to be doing. But God wants to do more than
just make His people like Jesus. God wants His people
to share His grace and mercy with others so that they will
get a taste of heaven and begin to seek for themselves His
will for their lives. Grace and mercy are more clearly
seen through Christians who minister together than through
any one individual. In fact, the larger the group
ministering together, the greater the channel through which
the church can extend God's mercy and grace.
To this end,
we gather every Sunday evening from 6-7pm to pray for each
other, the ministry of the church of Jesus Christ and the
needs of our world.
When we pray
for needs, praise God for his goodness and seek the Holy
Spirit's guidance in prayer, we are sensitized to the moving
of God in the world around us and where we could not see
what God is doing, prayer helps to give us the eyes to see
the words that share what God is up to.
