The Hubbard's

Tephila May 2008

It has been a busy two weeks but we feel like we are making progress in several areas.

Address – We now have a mailing address in Panama. Our address is

Perry J. & Nancy Hubbard
PO Box 0838-01516
Panama City, Panama

House – Yesterday we put a bid in on a house. It looks very hopeful that we will get it. We have to process some paper work. If all goes well within two weeks we could move in. Then we need to purchase appliances, furniture, connect electric, phone and internet and all the other things that are needed to live.

Shipment – According to our friend Mario (who owns the shipping agency that is helping with our shipment) it was supposed to arrive yesterday. The crate could be delivered to us today or tomorrow. That will be great.

Car – We are moving a little slower in this area. But now that we are closer to having a house we will begin a little more serious search for a vehicle.

Other areas

1. Jose Mckella – His step-father died on Monday. Keep him in your prayers as he deals with the various needs related to the funeral and caring for his mother’s needs.
2. Jeff – He continues to have a great deal of pain in his leg. He has a doctor’s appointment today. Pray for wisdom and God’s direction.
3. Language – Once we settle in our home we will need to find people to help us continue to practice and improve our Spanish. Pray for this process.
4. Ministry – Pray for us as we seek out ways to assist in the development and ministry of the church here. We are somewhat limited by our Spanish but already there are several possibilities to consider.
5. Jessica – She is currently in Guyana, working at RCHCC, to develop additional educational materials for the children.

Thanks so much for your prayer and support during this time of transition.
