WELCOME TO
WEST ALLIS WESLEYAN CHURCH
We want to welcome each one
who has taken time out of their busy day to worship with us.
May the cares of this week be laid at the feet of Jesus and
may you find here a place of peace where God can meet you
and give you the direction for this day.
We extend a special welcome to
those of you new to our fellowship and we pray that God may
use us in a special way to help you build the life Jesus
created for you to have. Thank you for joining us as
we bring God and People together.

WHO ARE THE
WESLEYANS?
The Wesleyan church is an evangelical, Protestant denomination.
We offer the good news that faith in Jesus Christ makes possible a
wonderful personal relationship with God, a holy life empowered by
His Spirit for witness and service, and assurance of eternal life in
heaven. Our name is in honor of John Wesley, the founder of
Methodism, whose emphasis on a life of faith, self-discipline, and
perfect love is our example. Each week, more than 300,000
Wesleyans meet in over 4,000 churches and missions in 72 nations
worldwide.
WE BELIEVE
- In one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- That Jesus Christ the Son suffered in our place on the cross and
that He died but rose again.
- In the Holy Scriptures as the inspired and inherent Word of God.
- That by the grace of God every person has the ability and
responsibility to choose between right and wrong, and that those who repent of
their sin and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ are justified by faith.
- That God provides for the believer's growth in grace at every
stage of his spiritual life, enabling him through the presence and power of the
Holy Spirit to live a victorious life.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
"We will
reach out in love with the good news of Jesus:
to encourage
personal relationships with God and others
through worship
and obedience, and to equip Christians for service."
OUR PLAN OF SALVATION
The most important decision that anyone makes is regarding
salvation. The Bible records how we may be forgiven for our sins. We must:
REPENT of our sins.
Luke 13:3 "...but unless you repent, you too will
perish."
CONFESS our sins to God.
I John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and
just to forgive us our sins"
BELIEVE Jesus died for us.
John 3:36 "Whoever believes on the Son has eternal
life..."
RECEIVE Jesus by faith as our personal savior.
John 1:12 "Yet to all who received him...he gave the
right to become children of God."
